Grade 1 Billy: "Mrs. M, I found your class boring today."
Me (thinking I had a pretty fun and active lesson planned). "I'm sorry to hear you feel that way."
Billy: "It's okay - I still did what you asked us to do!"
Me: "Thank you Billy." (insert tear here)
